Edwardian, Diamond and Sapphire Pendant with European Cuts Circa 1880's platinum pendant consists of pave set diamonds in a rectangular measuring 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide with attached pendant bail. The bail measures 1/3" in the length of 8.20 mm. Markings on the backside are 'Platinum" EER and 1530. The bail of the pendant has been added and marked 14 kt.
Diamonds are 46 round European cuts surrounding a single diamond measuring 4 mm. The total weight of diamonds is estimated at 1.60 carats. The quality of the diamonds is VS2 SI1 clarity and F-G color. Sapphire is four fancy cuts set in the center of the pendant to capture the Edwardian-style pendant.
The chain is a modern 14- round diamond set on an 18" link chain. The diamonds are 2.4 mm each with a total weight of .70 carat. The quality of diamonds is SI1 clarity and G color. . The total diamond weight is 2.30 carats. The total weight of gold is 9.9 grams.
